Help a Ukrainian Family Transition to North Carolina

This is the story of a family’s journey from a big city in Eastern Ukraine to Boone, North Carolina.

The start of their journey

When Russia invaded Ukraine, this family’s city was the first to be attacked.  Their apartment was completely destroyed, and they lost almost everything they owned.  When the attack started, this family began the journey to Boone, NC.  They just didn’t know it yet.

The Family

This is Granny (Tetiana), Anna (mom), Reci, Marc, Mary (10 year old girl), and Danny (12 year old boy) the day they arrived in Boone, North Carolina. Anna’s husband Misha has made it the the US  through the Uniting for Ukraine Program, and we are now trying to help them get established in America.
